The product philosophy
Built for Performance. Designed for Luxury.
Product sheets are full of phrases that sound impressive and explain nothing. This page translates every feature carried on LIXA artwork into what it actually does for your interior — and keeps each claim attached to the range that carries it.
Feature by feature
What the words mean on site.
Read this before you compare quotations. Two boards can look identical on a price list and behave nothing alike once a carpenter starts cutting.
Calibrated construction
A calibrated panel is sanded to an even thickness across the sheet. On site that translates into flush joinery, doors that align, laminate that bonds without telegraphing hollows, and far less shimming and packing for the carpenter.
Multiple-press processes
Repeated pressing consolidates the core and bonds the layers under sustained pressure. The practical result is a denser, more stable board that resists warping and holds screws and hinges over the long life of a fitted interior. The number of presses is stated by each range on its own artwork.
Borer & termite proof
Treatment against borer and termite attack protects the part of your interior that is never inspected — the inside of a carcass, the back of a wardrobe, the plinth under a kitchen. All three LIXA ranges carry this protection on their product material.
72 hours boiling water proof
A boiling-water claim is a stress test for the glue line. It matters in the real world wherever moisture gathers: kitchen sink units, utility areas, bathrooms lobbies and monsoon-season humidity. All three ranges carry this claim.
VPT treatment
Vacuum pressure treatment drives protection deep into the veneers rather than leaving it on the surface, so cutting and drilling on site does not expose an untreated interior. The treatment level is stated by each range on its own artwork.
Fire-retardant positioning
PLATINUM CLUB is positioned as the fire-retardant range in the LIXA collection — the natural starting point when a brief or a consultant asks for fire-retardant panelling.
E1 emission compliance
The APEX PRIME product sheet identifies E1 emission compliance, a reference point for interiors where indoor air quality is part of the conversation — bedrooms, children's rooms and closed offices.
Warranty-backed ranges
35 years on APEX PRIME, Lifetime on PLATINUM CLUB and 21 years on CLASSIC 710. The tier is a shorthand for where each range sits, and it is printed on the product rather than promised in conversation.
Product features and specifications are subject to the applicable product grade and current product documentation. Warranty is subject to the applicable product terms and conditions.

Questions, answered
Common questions about the range.
How do I choose between APEX PRIME, PLATINUM CLUB and CLASSIC 710?
Start with the brief. If a fire-retardant board is asked for, or the client wants the highest warranty tier, choose PLATINUM CLUB. If the interior is a premium, design-led fit-out, choose APEX PRIME PF Grade. For everyday carcassing, storage and utility joinery that still needs Marine Grade protection, choose CLASSIC 710. Many projects use more than one range.
What does the warranty tier actually tell me?
It tells you where the range sits in the collection: 35 Years on APEX PRIME, Lifetime on PLATINUM CLUB, 21 Years on CLASSIC 710. Warranty is subject to the applicable product terms and conditions.
Why does calibration matter to my carpenter?
An evenly calibrated sheet needs less packing and correction on site. Joinery lines up, laminate bonds flat, and shutters and drawers align — which shows up in the finish long after the invoice is forgotten.
Do all three ranges have the same protection features?
All three carry borer and termite protection, 72 hours boiling water proof performance and VPT treatment on their product material. The calibration, pressing count and VPT level differ by range, and fire-retardant positioning applies to PLATINUM CLUB. Always read the range's own product documentation.
How do I check that my plywood is a genuine LIXA product?
Scan the QR code printed on the LIXA product sticker with any phone camera. It opens the official LIXA Plywood website homepage, where you can explore the range that matches your sticker. The same code can be downloaded from our Resources page.
Can I get product documents for a specification or a tender?
Yes. Every supplied brochure, product information sheet, warranty artwork and product image is available on the Resources page, and you can request anything further through the enquiry form.
